Two sister concerns of AKIJ Resource on Saturday received special recognitions at the ESG Excellence Awards Bangladesh 2026, with AKIJ Essentials winning in the technology and digital innovation category and AKIJ Agro Feed recognised for external supply chain collaboration.
The awards were presented at a ceremony jointly organised by the UN Global Compact Network Bangladesh and the ESG Institute Bangladesh at a hotel in Dhaka, said a press release on Sunday.
AKIJ Essentials received recognition for its technology-driven ESG solutions and use of digital technology in sustainable management. AKIJ Agro Feed was recognised for building responsible and long-term partnerships with smallholder farmers, marginal producers and suppliers.
AKIJ Resource ESG and Sustainability Lead Md Rahajul Amin said the recognition is a matter of both pride and responsibility. “Our goal is to integrate ESG more deeply into our business operations and create sustainable value through technology, innovation and inclusive partnerships,” he said.
AKIJ Agro Feed Chief Executive Officer ATM Habib Ullah, AKIJ Essentials Chief Operating Officer Akterul Alam Shah, AKIJ Resource Chief Business Development Officer Towfique Hasan, and Senior Officer Md Ibtahaz Ifrit attended the ceremony.
