The first anniversary of the newspaper TIMES of Bangladesh has been celebrated at Jagannath University (JnU) through a cake-cutting ceremony.

The event was organised on Wednesday at the university’s Shahid Sajid Building with the participation of teachers, students, and campus journalists from the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism.

Marking the anniversary, a cake was cut in the presence of teachers, students, and journalists, and various aspects of the one-year journey of TIMES of Bangladesh were highlighted.

Speaking on the occasion, Associate Professor Md Raisul Islam said, “I extend my heartiest greetings to everyone concerned on the first anniversary of TIMES of Bangladesh.”

“The journey and activities of the media outlet so far are commendable. I hope the newspaper will move further ahead in future through the practice of objective, truthful, and responsible journalism,” he added.
