Recording for the songs has recently wrapped up, and two of them already have music videos. ‘Ami Bhalo Aachi’, composed by Fahmida herself with lyrics by Ila Majid, narrates the story of a woman masking her pain behind a smile. “This song is very personal and emotional for me,” she confides, reflecting on its heartfelt depth.
The second track, ‘Aakash Upur’, composed by Sochchol Kazi while penned by Hasan Masuk, captures life’s uncertainties, mental turbulence, and the shadows of emptiness. Its video, shot in Los Angeles, lends the song an international aura.
The third composition, yet to receive its title, inspired by the rains, blends solitude, nostalgia and monsoon memories. Written by Sohel Alam, and composed by Sheikh Mohammad Rajon, its video is set to deliver a bittersweet, rain-soaked experience for listeners.
“Music is what keeps me alive,” Fahmida tells us. “Releasing new songs brings new joy, new excitement. I want my listeners not just to hear, but to truly feel each piece.”
