Mamunur Rahman, founder of EXPOPRO, has been honoured with the Perdasama Excellence Award 2025 in recognition of his entrepreneurial excellence in trade and investment promotion.
The award was given at a gala ceremony at KSL Esplanade Hotel in Klang, Malaysia recently.
The award represents the association’s highest recognition, honouring distinguished individuals and organisations for their sustained contributions to strengthening the entrepreneurial and trade ecosystem in Malaysia and beyond.
The ceremony brought together more than 1,500 business leaders, policymakers, and entrepreneurs from across Malaysia and partner countries, according to a press release.
Receiving the award, Mamunur dedicated the honour to the growing collaboration between Bangladesh and Malaysia in trade and investment promotion.
“This recognition is a reflection of EXPOPRO’s commitment to building bridges between business communities, fostering sustainable partnerships and advancing trade and investment opportunities between Bangladesh and Malaysia,” he said.
Addressing the event, Perdasama President Mohd Azamanizam Baharon praised the efforts of regional partners like EXPOPRO in promoting inclusive entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth.
