According to Ruma Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Sohrawardi, the group reached the Boga Lake tourist spot on Wednesday via Bandarban and Ruma.
They set off for Keokradong early Thursday in a chander gari.
When the vehicle reached a steep section of the Papaya Garden area, the driver lost control.
The jeep hit the railing of a bridge and fell off the side of the road.
Rescuers took the injured to Ruma Upazila Health Complex and later transferred them to Bandarban Sadar Hospital.
Two of the tourists are in very critical condition, the OC said.
