Advance bus ticket sales for long-distance routes have begun on Friday, ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
Bus companies started selling tickets from early morning through both online platforms and physical counters, following a prior decision of the Bangladesh Bus-Truck Owners Association.
Sources said advance tickets are being sold for journeys from 21 May up to the eve of Eid. This means passengers can now purchase tickets on 8 May for travel between 21 May and the period before Eid across different routes.
