Approximately 700 residents of Ruqayyah Hall participated in voting during the initial hour of the DUCSU election at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) voting location within Dhaka University this morning, as reported by electoral authorities.

Students from Ruqayyah Hall are casting their ballots at this facility, where the voting process is organised across two distinct sections – the dining area and the recreational activity room.

Substantial queues of students were observed waiting to participate in the electoral process.

Returning Officer Nasrin Sultana expressed optimism that voting activities at this location would conclude by midday.

Individuals who had already voted mentioned that the procedure might take as little as three to four minutes, provided that participants arrive fully prepared.
