Diljit Dosanjh’s Japan trip has taken a hilarious turn after the singer-actor found himself unable to locate a dustbin after eating ice cream. In a recent reel, he shared glimpses of his food adventures and shopping trip while joking about Japan’s famously clean streets.
According to NDTV, Diljit bought two ice creams from a Japanese supermarket but soon ran into an unexpected problem: there was nowhere to throw the wrappers. “The problem started as soon as I arrived in Japan. I casually ate an ice cream and now I can’t find a dustbin,” he joked.
He faced the same dilemma after picking up another snack. “I get hungry every 10 minutes,” he said, adding that Japan was “so clean that they’ve cleaned away all the dustbins too”.
His food hunt continued as he stopped at a local Japanese eatery. Watching the chef prepare different dishes, Diljit joked about the similar-looking curries and even warned him not to serve snake after claiming it was fish.
The singer also visited a jewellery shop to have a wedding ring made. He teased the jeweller for trying to sell him everything in the store and joked about her comparison of the ring with ones that Lady Gaga or Ariana Grande could wear.
“Just make the ring and don’t end up selling all your products to us!” he quipped.
On the work front, Diljit was last seen in Satluj, which was removed from ZEE5 soon after its release.
