Actress Prarthana Fardin Dighi, who won audiences’ hearts as a popular child artiste, has once again addressed speculation surrounding her personal life. Speaking in a recent podcast, she denied ever having been in a romantic relationship.
When asked by the host how many relationships she had been in, Dighi replied that she had never fallen in love. She also claimed that despite having opportunities, she had never entered into a romantic relationship.
According to the actress, her family closely monitored her from her school days. She said strict restrictions were imposed on her from Class Six onwards. Dighi also revealed that she did not use a mobile phone until before sitting for her Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations. Her family also remained in regular contact with her school authorities and teachers to keep track of her activities.
She said the strict supervision throughout her early years meant she neither had the opportunity nor the environment to become involved in a relationship.
Despite her remarks, Dighi has previously been the subject of several dating rumours in the entertainment industry. She was linked with content creator Towhid Afridi, while photographs of her with a young man named Muhaimin Rashid also sparked speculation on social media.
However, Dighi had dismissed those rumours at the time, saying both Towhid Afridi and Muhaimin Rashid were only friends. She maintained that there was no truth to the reports suggesting otherwise.
Reiterating the same stance in the recent interview, Dighi said she has never been involved in a romantic relationship.
