The Ministry of Cultural Affairs celebrates legendary singer Sabina Yasmin today, recognising her enduring contributions to Bangladeshi music.
The honouring ceremony is taking place at the Jatiya Nattyashala auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 7:00 pm, where the iconic artiste is also performing a solo musical session.
Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki is going to inaugurat the programme with a welcome speech, while Planning Adviser Dr Wahiduddin Mahmud will formally honour the legendary singer.
Cabinet Secretary Dr Sheikh Abdur Rashid and Cultural Secretary M Mafidur Rahman are expected to attend the ceremony as special guests, with acclaimed actor Afzal Hossain moderating the evening.
