The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) announced on Wednesday that the 2026 season will begin on August 7, with matches scheduled across a record-equalling eight nations. The tournament will also feature games at Arnos Vale Stadium for the first time in its history.
This year’s edition will be staged in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago, highlighting the league’s continued expansion across the Caribbean.
However, the CPL will overlap with The Hundred in England, which could affect the availability of players such as Nicholas Pooran and Sherfane Rutherford during the latter stages of the tournament.
While the full schedule is yet to be released, the playoffs, including the Eliminator, Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2 and the final, are set to be held at Kensington Oval from September 16 to 20.
