Community Bank Bangladesh PLC marked International Women’s Day with a special programme for its female employees working in and around Dhaka.
The programme was organised at the head office of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC under the theme “Give to Gain,” the bank said in a press release on Sunday.
Female officials and employees from different branches and offices participated in the event.
Community Bank Managing Director (Current Charge) Kimiwa Saddat shared a message on the occasion, appreciating the dedication and contributions of women employees in the organisation.
“The women of the bank represent the quiet strength behind the institution’s progress and serve as a guiding light for its future,” he said.
“Their dedication, compassion and courage add deeper meaning to the bank’s work and bring humanity to its services,” he added.
He said women’s presence in the workplace helps shape organisational culture, build trust and inspire excellence across the institution.
Expressing optimism about the future, he said the voices, ideas and leadership of women within the bank will shine even brighter in the days ahead.
He added that when women grow, take initiative and lead with confidence, the institution gains resilience, innovation and purpose.
He also said the bank’s Human Resources team remains committed to ensuring dignity, fairness and a safe workplace where women can work without fear or hesitation.
