Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Guardian Life Insurance Limited to provide integrated banking and insurance services for customers.
The agreement was signed at the head office of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC in Dhaka, according to a press release.
Community Bank Bangladesh PLC Managing Director (Current Charge) Kimiwa Saddat and Guardian Life Insurance Limited Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Rakibul Karim signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
The partnership, announced under the theme “One Partnership, Complete Protection,” aims to expand customer-focused financial and insurance services while supporting financial inclusion and innovation.
Community Bank Bangladesh PLC Chief Operating Officer Shamsul Haque Sufyani, Head of Agent Banking, Foreign Remittance, Transaction Banking and Strategic Business Unit SK Perves Maraker, Head of Corporate Banking and Head of Business (Branch) Dr Md Ariful Islam and Chief Information Technology Officer and Head of DFS and Deputy Head of RMD Md Tanjim Morshed Bhuiyan were present at the ceremony.
Community Bank Bangladesh PLC Head of Operations Sarfuddin Md Redwan Patwary, Chief Financial Officer Md Shariful Islam Kadir, Head of Treasury Adam Purification (Anupam) and Head of ADC and Head of MD’s Coordination Team Md Mamun ur Rahman also attended the event.
Guardian Life Insurance Limited Head of Micro, ADC and Digital Channel Abdul Halim, Vice President Md Naushadul Karim Chowdhury, Assistant Vice President Md Tanim Bulbul and Business Development Manager Md Shihabul Islam were also present at the signing ceremony.
The partnership is expected to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in delivering banking and insurance solutions to customers.
