Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus on Thursday distributed awards among the top performers of Bangladesh Television’s (BTV) flagship children’s talent competition ‘Notun Kuri 2025’ at a ceremony.
Two top contestants, Preyosi Chakrabarty from Tangail (Group ‘Ka’) and Shuvo Mita Talukder from Sunamganj (Group ‘Kha’), received crests and cheques of Tk 3 lakh each from the Chief Adviser during the event held at 10am held at the Shapla Hall of the Chief Adviser’s Office (CAO).
Organised by Bangladesh Television under the initiative of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the ‘Notun Kuri’ programme serves as a national platform to showcase young talents across the country.
Thousands of children competed in 12 categories, including dance, music, recitation, comedy, storytelling, and acting.
The final round was preceded by regional and divisional level contests, culminating in national award ceremony.
Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Mahfuj Alam attended the function as special guest, while Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farjana presided over the event.
