The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has reshuffled three deputy commissioners (DCs), including changes in the leadership of the Uttara and Detective Branch (DB) Ramna divisions.
According to an office order issued on Wednesday and signed by DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, Mohammad Rezaul Karim, DC of DB Ramna Division, has been transferred to the Crime Uttara Division.
Mirza Tarek Ahmed Beg, DC (in-charge) of the Uttara Division, has been appointed DC (in-charge) of the DB Ramna Division.
In another move, Mohammad Zahed Parvez Chowdhury, DC of the City Special Action Group Division, has been transferred to the City Research and Development Division.
The order said the changes had been made in the public interest and would remain effective until further notice.
The transfers and postings came into effect immediately, according to the order.
