Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) is set to introduce its “Eid Special Bus Service” from 23 May ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha, aiming to ease holiday travel for passengers.
Advance ticket sales for the special service will begin on 17 May, according to a press release issued by the corporation’s Public Relations Department (PRD) on Thursday.
The BRTC said the initiative has been undertaken by the government to ensure safe, comfortable, and affordable travel for homebound passengers during the Eid holiday period.
Under the service, passengers will be able to travel to various destinations across the country at reasonable fares.
Authorities have urged passengers to take advantage of the special BRTC bus service during the Eid-ul-Adha travel rush.
