BRAC Bank has honoured 25 employees as “changemakers” and recognised 26 of its longest-serving staff members as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.
The changemakers were selected for their distinctive contributions at different stages of the bank’s journey- challenging conventional ways of working, creating new possibilities and helping the organisation move forward, said a press release on Saturday.
The bank featured their stories in its “25 Faces of BRAC Bank” series, celebrating the people behind the institution’s growth. The employees received commemorative mementoes featuring their individual portraits from Managing Director Tareq Refat Ullah Khan at a ceremony attended by senior leadership and management committee members.
The 26 longest-serving employees were recognised for their loyalty and contribution, representing the institutional memory and continuity integral to the bank’s 25-year journey.
Khan said an institution’s greatest strength is its people – those who dare to think differently and have the commitment to keep moving forward. “Our 25 changemakers represent that spirit of doing that has shaped BRAC Bank, while our longest-serving colleagues remind us of the dedication and loyalty that have carried this institution through 25 years,” he said.
The recognition reflects the bank’s people-centric culture, where employees are encouraged to take ownership and contribute beyond their individual roles.
