Celebrated singer Bappa Mazumder has released a new duet track titled ‘Kothay Jeno’, featuring rising singer Bithi. The lyrics of the song have been written by Shahan Kabondho, while Bappa himself has composed and arranged the music. The accompanying music video is directed by Raj Islam and produced by Shondha Rani Saha.
Television actors Partha Sheikh and Aisha Khan appear as models in the video, which has been released on Bithi’s official YouTube channel.
Speaking about the project, Bappa Mazumder said Kothay Jeno stands out from typical contemporary duet songs, with an emphasis on a distinctive musical approach. He added that the production aimed to highlight strong vocal performances alongside a visually refined presentation.
The artist also noted that the overall team effort has resulted in a work he hopes will appeal to a wide audience. Bithi echoed similar optimism about the release.
Bappa Mazumder continues to remain active with solo projects as well as work with his band Dalchhut. Recently, he drew attention with the duet ‘Tumi Bollei’ alongside Tina Russell, and earlier released the single ‘Ei Betha’, further adding to his steady run of new music.
