The West Indies cricket team faces a hectic end to 2025, with a series of high-profile assignments lined up across multiple formats and continents. Following home series against Australia and Pakistan, the Caribbean side will embark on a tour of Bangladesh in October-November for a six-match white-ball series.

The tour will begin with three ODIs on October 18, 20, and 23, followed by three T20Is on October 27, 30, and November 1, as confirmed by Cricket West Indies earlier this week.

Although official confirmation of venues is still pending, sources have informed that the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium is set to host the first two ODIs, while Chattogram will likely stage the third ODI and the opening T20I. The final two T20Is are expected to be played at Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Before arriving in Bangladesh, West Indies will play three T20Is against Nepal in Sharjah on September 27, 29, and 30, with all matches scheduled at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

The Caribbean side will then head directly from Bangladesh to India for a two-Test series, starting October 2 in Ahmedabad and continuing from October 10 in Delhi.

Later in the year, the team will embark on a full tour of New Zealand from November to December, featuring five T20Is, three ODIs, and three Tests.

The upcoming months will test West Indies’ depth and endurance, with significant international commitments on the road. Their visit to Bangladesh is particularly important as both teams gear up for the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup.

In their last bilateral series, held in the Caribbean, honours were even. Bangladesh made history with their first-ever T20I series whitewash on West Indies soil, but the hosts responded with a 3-0 sweep in the ODIs, while the Test series ended 1-1.

With fixtures confirmed across Asia, the subcontinent, and Oceania, the West Indies will be looking to build momentum across all formats ahead of a crucial year in international cricket.
