The Bangladesh Cricket Board on Sunday announced the squad for the first two T20 internationals of the three match series against Ireland, which will begin on 27 November in Chattogram.
All three fixtures will be played at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium, with matches set for 27 and 29 November and 2 December. The selectors have made two changes from the group that featured against the West Indies, with fast bowler Taskin Ahmed and batter Shamim Hossain missing out. They are replaced by all rounder Md Shaif Uddin and uncapped 26 year old batter Mahidul Islam Bhuiyan.
Litton Kumer Das will continue as captain, with Saif Hassan serving as vice captain. The squad features a blend of established performers and emerging players as Bangladesh look to build momentum ahead of a busy white ball calendar.
