Chief of Army Staff General Waker‑Uz‑Zaman left Dhaka on Sunday for a five‑day official visit to the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The Inter‑Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate said he departed in the morning.
During the trip, he will meet senior defence officials and dignitaries of both countries and discuss ways to strengthen bilateral defence ties and cooperation, ISPR added.
