Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto lost the toss in the one-off Test against Zimbabwe in Harare on Sunday. Zimbabwe skipper Richard Ngarava, leading the side in his first Test as captain, elected to bowl first.
Towhid Hridoy and Amite Hasan are making their Test debuts for Bangladesh in the match.
Bangladesh have gone with seven batters, one spinner and three pacers in their playing XI. There are six changes from the side that played their previous Test.
The experienced opening pair of Shadman Islam and Mahmudul Hasan Joy has returned, with Tanzid Hasan missing out. The top order features captain Shanto alongside Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim, while Hridoy and Amit strengthen the middle order. Taijul Islam is the lone specialist spinner, with Hasan Mahmud, Khaled Ahmed and Ebadot Hossain leading the pace attack.
