Popular musician Syed Hasanur Rahman Hasan of the band ARK has lost his mother, Roushanara Aziz, who passed away on Monday (May 4) due to age-related complications. She was 86.
The news was confirmed on social media by ARK member Tinku Azizur Rahman, who expressed deep grief over the loss. In his post, he said that Hasan’s mother breathed her last at 12:30 pm on the day.
He also extended condolences to Hasan and his family, noting that the funeral prayer was held after Maghrib at Lalmatia Bibi Mosque, followed by her burial at Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard.
Requesting prayers for the departed soul, Tinku wrote that members of ARK humbly urged everyone to pray for her forgiveness and eternal peace, hoping that Almighty Allah grants her Jannatul Ferdous.
