Ariana Grande has announced her eighth studio album titled ‘Petal’, confirming a release date of July 31 via Republic Records.
The project is executive produced and co-written by Grande alongside Swedish-Persian producer Ilya Salmanzadeh, known professionally as Ilya. He previously collaborated with Grande on her 2024 album ‘Eternal Sunshine’ and has worked with artists including Taylor Swift and Sam Smith.
Describing the upcoming record, Grande said the album reflects themes of growth and resilience, calling it “something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging.”
The announcement follows a period of increased activity for the singer, including work on the Wicked film project and its sequel, as well as the release of Eternal Sunshine and its 2025 deluxe edition. She is also preparing for a summer tour set to begin in June, which is expected to feature material from the new album.
Grande has previously hinted that the tour may mark a temporary step back from extensive live performances, saying she intends to focus on a new phase of her career after more than a decade in the industry.
With Petal, anticipation is high among fans as Grande continues to expand her sound while balancing music and film commitments.
