Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant Ali Riaz has dismissed as false, fabricated and baseless the allegations made in a video statement by a woman identified as Atandronu Ripa on social media, calling it a deliberate attempt at character assassination.
In a statement, Ali Riaz said he does not know the woman in the video. He described all claims regarding any contact or relationship with her as entirely untrue. Ali Riaz stated that such false accusations were being circulated with ill intent.
He urged those involved to stop spreading such statements immediately. Otherwise, he said, legal action would be taken against those responsible for the defamatory, offensive and character-assassinating allegations.
On Tuesday, a woman named Atandronu Ripa appeared on social media claiming that Ali Riaz had lured her into a physical relationship and later forced her to terminate a pregnancy.
