AKIJ Resource has launched an artificial intelligence-powered career platform called nextjobz to make recruitment faster and more efficient by connecting job seekers with employers through skill-based matching.
The platform was inaugurated on Wednesday by AKIJ Resource Managing Director Sheikh Jasim Uddin at a ceremony held at AKIJ House in Tejgaon, according a press release.
“nextjobz is designed to identify the right match between the skills of job seekers and the requirements of recruiters through modern technology,” AKIJ Resource Managing Director Sheikh Jasim Uddin said.
The system will significantly reduce time and cost in recruitment, he added.
The platform will grow into a complete career solution rather than a traditional job site, he said.
It will contribute to developing the country’s human resources by supporting job seekers in enhancing their skills, he added.
“Our goal is to directly create one million employment opportunities at AKIJ Resource,” he said.
“nextjobz” will also feature information on higher education and global job opportunities, he added.
Senior officials including Shoeb Hassan, Mohammad Toufiq Hasan, Mohammed Afsar Uddin and Jayed Bin Rashid were present at the programme.
