West Indies captain Shai Hope won the toss and chose to bowl first in the opening ODI against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday.
The match marks the start of a three-match ODI series between the two sides. Bangladesh will look to make home advantage count after being outplayed by the visitors in their previous ODI series in 2024.
