The spirited Bangladesh U-17 National Football Team will take on Pakistan in the first semifinal of the SAFF U-17 Championship, scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) at the Racecourse Ground in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The match kicks off at 3.30 pm Bangladesh time. Later in the day, India will meet Nepal in the second semifinal, starting at 8 pm BST.

Bangladesh have showcased strong form in the tournament so far, beating Nepal and Sri Lanka by identical 4-0 scorelines to finish as Group A champions.

Meanwhile, Pakistan opened their campaign with a 4-0 win over Bhutan, followed by a 5-2 victory against Maldives. However, they narrowly lost 3-2 to defending champions India in their final group match, finishing as runners-up in Group B.

The championship final is scheduled for 27 September at the same venue.
