The prestigious Schwarzman Scholars program, modelled after the world-renowned Rhodes Scholarship (established in 1902), is now open for applications. Designed to prepare the next generation of global leaders, this highly competitive program offers a one-year Master’s degree at Tsinghua University, Beijing.
For the 2026-27 session, up to 200 outstanding students from around the world will be selected for the scholarship. Scholars will live in Beijing for a year, engaging in intensive academic study, cultural immersion, lectures and regional travel.
Tsinghua University attracts students in diverse fields, including science, engineering, arts and literature, social sciences, and medicine, making it an exceptional environment for cross-disciplinary learning and cultural exchange.
What the scholarship covers-
Selected scholars will receive a comprehensive package that includes:

- A monthly stipend to cover accommodation, meals, and incidental expenses

Eligibility criteria-
Applicants must:
- Hold an undergraduate degree in any discipline
- Be between 18 and 28 years old (not older than 28 by August 1, 2025)
- Demonstrate strong leadership potential
- Be proficient in English, with an official English proficiency test score required (such as IELTS)
