GPH Ispat contributes to Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation Fund

GPH Ispat, a leading steel manufacturer in Bangladesh, has contributed to the Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation Fund from its Workers’ Profit Participation Fund (WPPF), according to a press release by the company.

The contribution was handed over during a ceremony in Dhaka, where GPH Ispat’s Director Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman, Chief People Officer Sharmin Sultan, and Group Chief Financial Officer H M Ashraf-Uz-Zaman FCA presented the cheque to Brigadier General (Retd) Dr M Sakhawat Hussain, Adviser to the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

This initiative demonstrates GPH Ispat’s commitment to the welfare of industrial workers and its role as a responsible corporate citizen.

The Bangladesh Labour Welfare Foundation Fund supports workers and their families by providing essential welfare services.
