Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider visited Daffodil International University (DIU) in Dhaka and met with Vice Chancellor Prof Dr MR Kabir.
During the meeting, the high commissioner felicitated the VC on the remarkable achievements of DIU in various international rankings, reads a press release.
Recalling his visit to Pakistan, VC Prof Dr MR Kabir appreciated the quality and diversity of higher education offered by Pakistani universities, particularly in the fields of science and technology. He noted that there is a huge scope of cooperation between the academic institutions of the two countries.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to promote educational cooperation with Bangladesh, High Commissioner Imran Haider apprised the Vice Chancellor about various initiatives carried out under the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor.
Both sides agreed to promote institutional linkages between DIU and leading Pakistani universities, particularly in the fields of IT, AI, robotics, and solar technology, through joint research as well as faculty and student exchange programmes.
Following their discussions, the High Commissioner and the Vice Chancellor visited various departments and facilities of the university.
