Members of the Special Response Battalion (SRB) have arrested Sheikh Asif Hossain, a key suspect in the murder of North Western University student Ayman Md Azmul Hossain.
Asif was detained around 2:30am Wednesday in the Bhatiapara Golchattar area of Gopalganj. The operation was carried out by SRB‑6 with support from the SRB Bhatiapara Camp.
According to SRB Khulna Headquarters, Asif is from Sanatankati village in Paikgachha upazila of Khulna.
So far, four people have been arrested in connection with the murder.
