Salman Khan opened up about his difficult time in jail during a surprise appearance at the Alliance headquarters, leaving contestants stunned with his candid account of the harsh conditions he experienced.
According to the Times of India, Salman entered the house to meet the contestants, while his brother Sohail Khan became emotional and embraced him. Sohail admitted that the competition had overwhelmed him and said he had “freaked out” during one of the tasks.
Salman stood by his brother and acknowledged the emotional pressure he was facing. “So my dear noble brother took all the blame onto him. But I know as a brother how much he is trying. Emotionally, he is taking it all in, throughout,” he said.
The actor also addressed tensions inside the house and defended contestant Kushal. Calling out Vanshaj and Bali over their behaviour, he remarked, “Kya chal raha hai, buddha bulayega ab,” leaving the housemates stunned.
Salman later lightened the mood with jokes. Teasing Mini about her relationship with husband Kabir Khan, he said, “Now I understand why Kabir is so scared of you.” He also teased Sohail, asking, “You still listen to Seema?”
The mood changed when Salman recalled his years in jail. Comparing confinement with the mental pressure of reality television, he said, “Many years back, when I went to jail, we had bars in front of us.”
He recalled sharing a small cell with “50-60-70 people” and having only one Indian-style bathroom. “There would be lizards and the water and the shit is filled all the way till up,” he said, describing the conditions.
His account left the contestants visibly moved. Salman used the experience to stress the importance of mental strength, resilience and emotional balance during difficult times.
His surprise appearance boosted Sohail’s morale and brought together emotional exchanges, humour and candid conversations in one of the season’s standout episodes.
