BTS member Jimin gave both K-pop and football fans a memorable crossover moment after recreating Norwegian football star Erling Haaland’s signature walk during the group’s recent concert in Germany, writes The Korea Herald.

The playful tribute took place during BTS’ “Arirang” world tour stop at Munich’s Allianz Arena on 11 June, where Jimin’s spontaneous interaction with a fan quickly became one of the concert’s most talked-about moments.

The fun began during the pre-concert soundcheck when Jimin noticed a fan holding a creative poster featuring three famous blond figures: Marvel superhero Thor, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Jimin himself.

The sign humorously described them as “the god of thunder,” “the god of soccer,” and “our god” in Korean.

Amused by the comparison, Jimin pointed at each figure, read the captions aloud and burst into laughter, drawing cheers from the audience.

Later during the main concert, the BTS star surprised fans by recreating Haaland’s trademark swagger on stage, earning another round of loud applause from the packed stadium.

Videos of the light-hearted moment quickly spread across social media, delighting fans of both music and football.

Sports outlet ESPN Mexico shared the viral clip on its official social media channels with the caption, “Haaland fever has reached BTS,” highlighting the unexpected crossover between the global pop sensation and the Norwegian footballer.

Meanwhile, Chilean radio network LOS40 joined the conversation by posting side-by-side images of Jimin and Haaland, celebrating the amusing connection between the two international stars.

Neither Haaland nor BTS has publicly commented on the viral moment, but fans across social media praised Jimin’s playful personality and the wholesome interaction, with many calling it one of the most unexpected—and entertaining—crossovers of the year.
