Madonna is set to return with a new album titled ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II’, scheduled for release on July 3 via Warner Records.

The project marks her first full-length studio album in seven years and serves as a follow-up to her 2005 hit record Confessions on a Dance Floor, which produced tracks including ‘Hung Up’, ‘Sorry’ and ‘Jump’. It also reunites her with producer Stuart Price, who worked on the original album.

Madonna announced the release on social media alongside the album artwork, which shows her seated on purple speakers in matching lingerie with pink fabric covering her face. She also shared a brief audio preview ahead of the first single.

In a statement, Madonna and Price described the creative vision behind the album as centred on dance as a form of ritual and emotional release, emphasising connection, community and physical expression through music.

The announcement follows Madonna’s return to Warner Records after nearly two decades. She previously hinted at a new dance-focused project as part of her renewed partnership with the label.

Madonna said the reunion marked a new creative chapter, adding that she looks forward to continuing to make music that challenges expectations and sparks conversation.
