Prime Minister Tarique Rahman spent the Friday evening at Star Cineplex, watching sci-fi Hollywood blockbuster “Project Hail Mary” with his daughter Zaima Rahman.
Tarique visited the Star Cineplex branch in the BDR Shimanto Shombhar, located in the city’s Jigatola area, to watch the film.
According to the prime minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon confirmed the matter, adding that the screening commenced at 7:10pm and concluded at 10:10pm.
The film, “Project Hail Mary,” is a science fiction production released in 2026. Based on a novel by Andy Weir, the movie was released during the Eid-ul-Fitr.
