Bangladesh Television (BTV) is set to brighten up this year’s Eid celebrations with two specially designed programmes for children, bringing a festive spirit to young viewers across the country.
The first show, ‘Shishuder Eid Anondo’, produced by Mamun Mahmud and Mahbuba Zemin, showcases the talents of the top ten child performers from the 2025 edition of the popular Notun Kuri competition.
Viewers can expect a vibrant mix of singing, dancing, storytelling, comedy and dramatic performances, all designed to capture the energy and excitement of the festival.
Meanwhile, the children’s magazine programme ‘Elo Khushir Eid’, produced by Jamal Uddin Farhad, offers a rich variety of entertainment including group music and dance, magic, comedy sketches, recitations, qawwali, and short dramas.
The colourful mix of performances highlights BTV’s aim to create a joyful, immersive experience for young audiences while also appealing to the whole family.
