The government has appointed two new prosecutors to the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT).
The new appointees are Marzina Raihan Madina and Zahirul Amin.

The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued a gazette notification on Monday confirming their appointments.

Both will serve as tribunal prosecutors at the rank of Deputy Attorney General, with the order taking immediate effect.

The notification was signed by Sana Md Mahruf Hossain, deputy solicitor of the Ministry of Law.

Meanwhile, in a separate gazette notification, the ministry announced it has accepted the resignation of ICT prosecutor Saimum Reza Talukder.
