Abul Khair Group crowned winners and distributed nearly Tk15 lakh in scholarships at the grand finale of the “Marks Active School Genius” competition on Thursday, organisers said.
The event, hosted by Marks Active School in partnership with 10 Minute School, drew more than 100,000 students when it opened online in September 2025. After competitive rounds, 150 students from Junior (Grades 5–6), Intermediate (Grades 7–8) and Senior (Grades 9–10) categories qualified for the final.
Champions in each category received a trophy and a Tk1.5 lakh scholarship, first runners-up won trophies and BDT 100,000, and second runners-up took home trophies and Tk50,000. Students placing fourth through tenth in each division received medals and Tk25,000 scholarships.
The finale tested finalists’ knowledge and skills in Bangla, English, ICT, artificial intelligence, fine arts and IQ assessments, organisers said.
In the Junior category, Sadat Sharafat Hossain Chowdhury of BAF Shaheen College, Dhaka, took first place, with Bayezid Islam of Kushtia Police Lines School and College second and Md Nabeeh Hossain of St Joseph Higher Secondary School third.
In the Intermediate class, first place went to Titas Chowdhury of Milestone College, second to Mahir Daiyan of Dhaka Residential Model College and third to Jawwad Chowdhury of Rangpur Zilla School.
In the Senior category, Ammar Ibnu Shamim from University Laboratory School and College secured first place, with Md Ridwanul Islam Riad of Tangail Police Lines Adarsha High School second and Asif Mahmud of Government Science High School third.
The final was hosted by Ayman Sadiq, founder and CEO of 10 Minute School. Awards were presented by Bangladesh national football team captain Jamal Bhuiyan and Ayman Sadiq.
The event also marked the launch of “Marks Active School Fortified Instant Milk,” a new product enriched with additional vitamins and minerals intended to support the nutritional needs of school-age children.
“This initiative has encouraged talented students across the country, boosted confidence and expanded knowledge,” organisers said, adding that the group remained committed to supporting future learning and talent development.
