The metro rail authorities have decided to suspend its operations at the Dhaka University campus station at the request of the university authorities.
As such, trains will not b stopping at the Dhaka University campus station from 7pm onwards on Wednesday until the start of operations the next day.
“For the information of respected passengers, it is hereby informed that at the request of the Dhaka University authorities, the Dhaka University Metro Rail Station will remain closed from 7pm today,” Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited’s Deputy Project Director Ahsan Ullah Sharifi said in a statement on Wednesday.
The trains will resume operations at the Dhaka University campus from Thursday.
