Brent Christensen, a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, will serve as the US ambassador to Bangladesh. He confirmed the matter in a post of social media.
United States President Donald Trump nominated him back in September.
“Brent Christensen, of Virginia, a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Counselor, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh,” read a White House announcement.
