Dhaka University has decided to launch online classes from Sunday, in an effort to keep academic activities running smoothly across all levels.
According to the decision, department chairs and institute directors will begin online classes in their respective units in coordination with the deans. The online format will continue until further notice.
The university also said that decisions regarding the winter vacation will be announced later, based on the recommendations of an inspection team formed with engineers to assess buildings damaged by the recent earthquake and subsequent aftershocks.
Authorities have requested cooperation from all concerned to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of academic activities.
