Shortly after her release from jail on Tuesday afternoon, popular actress Nusraat Faria took to her verified Facebook page to express heartfelt gratitude to her supporters.
In an emotional post, she reflected on the trauma of the past two days and thanked everyone who stood by her during what she described as the most difficult period of her life.
“I have just passed the most critical and distressing moments of my life over the last two days,” Faria wrote. “Mentally, I was completely shattered. But I want to express my sincere gratitude to those who stood by me every step of the way.”
Faria extended her thanks to her colleagues in the film industry, members of the entertainment community, and the general public.
“From fellow actors to everyone in the industry, and even ordinary people who spoke out for me and for justice—your support and love will stay with me forever. If it weren’t for you all, I might not have been able to return to you so quickly,” she said.
She also offered a special thanks to journalists and media professionals: “I especially want to thank our media workers. Your support was incredibly important, and I will always remember the love you have shown me.”
Faria was released on bail Tuesday afternoon from Kashimpur Central Women’s Jail after being arrested in connection with an attempted murder case tied to the July Uprising protests. She had been taken into custody on Sunday at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport while trying to leave for Thailand.
Her social media post has since garnered thousands of reactions and supportive comments from fans and well-wishers.
