Thirty-eight candidates have been allocated election symbols in Khulna to contest the upcoming 13th parliamentary election.
The symbols were distributed on Wednesday at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office and the District Election Office.
Khulna Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer ASM Jamshed Khondker allocated the symbols among contesting candidates for five constituencies in the district. In another constituency of Khulna, symbols were allocated by Returning Officer and Regional Election Officer Faisal Kader.
With this, 38 candidates will contest across the district’s six constituencies.
