The government has transferred 12 police officials of additional deputy inspector general (DIG) and superintendent of police (SP) rank.
Separate notifications were issued regarding this on Thursday. The notifications said the orders take immediate effect.
According to the notifications, Satkhira In‑Service Training Centre Commandant (SP) Mokbul Hossain has been moved to Kushtia in the same post.
Dhaka APBn‑12 Commander (Additional DIG) Md Iqbal has been reassigned as APBn‑5 commander, while Highway Police Additional DIG Md Enamul Kabir has been appointed APBn‑12 commander.
Dhaka APBn‑13 Commander (Additional DIG) Mohammad Sihab Kayser Khan has been transferred to PBI as Additional DIG. RAB Directors (Additional DIGs) Mohammad Kamruzzaman and Md Khalidul Haque Hawlader have been appointed Joint Police Commissioners of DMP.
DMP Deputy Commissioner (Supernumerary Additional DIG) Mohammad Robiul Hossain Bhuiyan has been made SP of River Police. APBn Additional SP (Supernumerary SP) Nusrat Jahan Mukta has been transferred to SB as Additional SP.
In another order, Dhaka District SP Md Mizanur Rahman has been posted to PBI as SP, while Police Headquarters SP Shamima Parveen has been appointed Dhaka District SP.
Bagerhat SP Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury has been transferred to Chattogram Range, and DMP Deputy Commissioner Hasan Mohammad Naser Rikabdar has been made Bagerhat SP.
