Renowned artist-actor Bipasha Hayat has revealed that she declined a role in the widely discussed Eid release ‘Bonolata Express’, despite being personally approached by director Tanim Noor.
Speaking on Maasranga TV’s podcast show ‘Behind The Fame with RRK’, Bipasha said she continues to receive regular acting offers, even though she has stepped back from on-screen work in recent years. However, she remains selective about her projects.
Bipasha explained that she is currently seeking roles that demand both physical and emotional intensity. As Bonolata Express did not offer that scope, she chose not to take part in the film, despite hearing positive feedback about it.
The film has since performed strongly at home and has expanded internationally, screening in more than 50 theatres across North America and Europe from April 3.
Directed by Tanim Noor, the cast includes Mosharraf Karim, Chanchal Chowdhury, Shariful Raj, Sabila Nur and Azmeri Haque Badhon among others.
