vivo has begun teasing the launch of its Y31d smartphone ahead of Ramadan, introducing a new Festive Red colour and a 7,200mAh BlueVolt battery as it seeks to capture seasonal demand, the company said in a statement on Monday.
The device is positioned as a Ramadan offering, with vivo linking the design and performance features to heightened digital use during the holy month, the statement added.
The Y31d features a Festive Red finish, which the company described as a fresh colour option in Bangladesh, alongside Starlight Grey and Glow White variants. The red shade symbolises warmth, care and family bonding, aligning with the spirit of Ramadan, vivo said.
Beyond aesthetics, the handset is equipped with a 7,200mAh BlueVolt battery, which the company described as the largest ever used in a vivo smartphone. The capacity is intended to support extended daily activity, including online classes, office work, meetings, navigation, entertainment and video calls from sehri to iftar.
The company said the extended battery life is aimed at students, professionals and users travelling or managing busy schedules during Ramadan, reducing the need for frequent charging while maintaining uninterrupted connectivity.
vivo did not disclose pricing or a launch date but said the Y31d will be available in Bangladesh soon.
