United Finance has entered into a strategic partnership with BYD Bangladesh to offer preferential car loan facilities for customers purchasing electric vehicles, aiming to support the country’s transition to sustainable mobility.
The non-bank financial institution (NBFI) said in a press release that its Acting Managing Director Mohammed Abul Ahsan and BYD Bangladesh Managing Director Amid Sakif Khan signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations.
Under the arrangement, United Finance will provide specialised and competitive financing solutions tailored for customers buying BYD electric vehicles in Bangladesh.
United Finance Head of Branch Management Md Enayet Latif and BYD Bangladesh Chief Financial Officer Md Ferdowsur Rahman attended the signing ceremony.
“Bangladesh is ready to embrace electric mobility,” said Abul Ahsan.
“We are very excited about this partnership. United Finance aims to be at the forefront of enabling our customers with world class electric vehicles like BYD,” he added.
Operating since 1987, United Finance is an NBFI providing customer-focused financial services in Bangladesh.
