Banglalink has concluded its ‘Ethics & Compliance Week 2026’ with a commitment to embedding ethics, integrity and transparency across its operations, bringing together leaders, employees, front-line workers and business partners for five days of awareness sessions, discussions and leadership engagements.

The programme, held during August under the slogan “Ethics & Compliance Starts with Us,” featured daily quizzes, targeted awareness sessions, interactive discussions and floor walks led by business leaders, said a press release Thursday.

A visiting delegation from Banglalink’s parent company VEON, including Group Head of Ethics & Compliance Gabriela Gutierrez, Group Head of Investigation Sarwat Salauddin, Interim Head of Compliance Culture & Engagement Dovgulya Sergey Igorevich and Group Investigations Senior Manager Ahsan Minto, participated in the programme.

The week included a Leadership Roundtable on integrity as a strategic advantage, a CEO fireside chat on openness and trust, and regional market visits. Around 80 local and international business partner representatives attended a session titled “Building Trusted and Responsible Partnerships.”

Banglalink CEO Johan Buse said lasting success is defined not only by what an organisation achieves but by how it achieves it. “Ethics & Compliance Week brought our people, leaders and business partners together around a shared responsibility: to make principled decisions, speak up with confidence and build trust through every action,” he said.

Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer Muniruzzaman Sheikh said the goal is to continue strengthening trust and transparency across Banglalink and the wider ecosystem.
