Unilever Consumer Care Limited (UCL) recently held its 328th Board Meeting, during which it approved several key appointments to its Board of Directors and senior management team.
The Board elected Ruhul Quddus Khan as Chairman for a three-year term, effective from 28 July 2026, reads a press release.
Ruhul was elected under Article 94 of UCL’s Articles of Association following the resignation of the outgoing Chairman, Masud Khan.
He also serves as chief executive officer and managing director of Unilever Bangladesh Limited.
The Board welcomed Ruhul to his new role and expressed confidence that his leadership and strategic guidance would support UCL’s continued growth and long-term success.
The Board also elected Shadman Sadikin as a non-executive director of UCL.
In addition, subject to the completion of the applicable regulatory processes, the Board approved the appointment of Samsuddoha Nayeem as head of Finance and appointed Sharmin Akter as company secretary.
